What is Striker V?
STRIKER V is a superhero dramedy series that covers the lives of Heroes both in and outside of battle. The first book, ELEMENTS OF CHANGE, was published in 2018, and was my debut novel. Here, we find Neil Harris, the Fifth Hero to bear the name Striker, burnt out from work. He just wants to get home to his boyfriend at the end of a hard workday.
Too bad there’s an ancient malevolent force that’s going to make that difficult.
So what’s a Director’s Cut?
It’s the same story with a little better editing. This updated version also adds some character moments that give the story more depth.
Reading through the series in its original incarnation shows the natural progression of my style and understanding of these characters and the world they inhabit. Now that they and I know each other a little better, we wanted to go back and give this story a coda that ties it more directly to later entries.
The scope of THE DIRECTOR’S CUT was intentionally limited to changes in how characters respond and some editorial phrasing. The goal was to keep the story structurally the same. All scenes that received larger-scale changes are still in line with the original story.
Back when I was a new author, I had no idea how to handle releases, so this is what I’m calling the official “re-debut celebration.”
When does this come out?
ARC copies will be sent out in early May.
Soft launch will be in early May.
Release date is June 6.
